The Mother Cooker 2020
Hello and welcome to a new decade. Can't quite believe I am saying that, as 2020 marks ten years of blogging. It brings me more joy now than it ever did and that is no mean feat in the world of fast social media. When I first started blogging back in 2010, I had a small gardening blog. I was 23 at the time and thought nobody would read it. Turns out that ten years later I still love gardening and a lot of you do too. I have always been sincerely invested in horticulture and everything that goes alongside it. Starting a college course on the subject this year has cemented that love even further. I feel I am at my truest self when out in nature, hands in the earth, growing something, anything. It's what led me to turn The Mother Cooker into a seasonal food blog. Something I am so intensely passionate about.
So what can you expect from The Mother Cooker this year? Lots more seasonal recipes, that's for sure. I will also be introducing a lot more growing tips, especially as I will have my allotment. So I would love to take you on that journey with me too. You will also be seeing a lot more in the way of wellness this year. I will also be talking about foraging, pickling, preserving and trying to live off the land a lot more. It’s going to be a great year and I can’t wait to share it with you.
